Two identical quarter-plate daguerreotypes of a portrait painting of Leverett Saltonstall (1783-1845), probably by the artist Chester Harding. The photograph was taken circa 1850-1855 by an unknown photographer. Enclosed is a damaged note in an unknown hand that identifies the photograph.
